For all those who are flying to Barcelona and those who live here and want to get away for the weekend. Here’s how to get to Barcelona from El Prat Airport.

Get from the airport to the city center for 1 €. Do not overpay for TAXI. Going by train or a regular bus is the fastest and the cheapest way to get to or from the airport with your T-10 ticket.

T-10 is a multi-person travel card valid for 10 trips, up to 75 minutes each (even if you switch means of transport or metro lines within this time). It is available for all 6 zones but if you want to travel just within Barcelona city, T-10 for 1 zone will be enough.
Cost: €9,95 for 1 zone.

Tip:
Although airport is in zone 2, with T-10 you can go there by bus or by the Rodalies train. It´s advisable to save 1 trip for the ride to the El Prat airport at the end of your stay in Barcelona.

There are some parking lots around the airport for much lower price per day than on the actual airport. They offer a free shuttle service to T1 and T2. You can book a space directly when booking a Ryanair flight or check their offer here: airport parking Ryanair.
